My Story
As a young girl, I had a farm in my backyard – turtles, a monkey, horses, you name it. I’ve always loved animals, and I knew that when I grew up I’d have a farm filled with them. In 2018, that dream became a reality and Royal Highlands Miniature Farm was born!

About the farm
Founded by lifelong animal lover Denise Griffith, Royal Highlands farm specializes in horse boarding, dog breeding, and miniature animals. The farm is located on 40 acres backing up to a nature preserve equine park with over 200 miles of trails. We raise our own chickens, goats, and ducks alongside horses and dogs. Come out and visit us in beautiful Weeki Wachee, Florida to see everything Royal Highlands has to offer.
Riding Center
Royal Highlands Farm is a full boarding facility catering to horse and rider. We offer private and group riding lessons taught on your horse or one of our safe lesson horses, as well as kids camps. Come join us on a trail ride or take advantage of the following amenities:
- 8 14×14 stalls
- Private and shared air-conditioned tack room
- Hot and cold wash racks
- Round pen workouts
- Large clay arena
- Relaxing, air-conditioned rider’s lounge
- Once a month game night for riders
Seasonal Produce
We grow fresh, organic produce including persimmons, muscadines, and blueberries along with a variety of others.
Dog Breeding
Royal Highlands also specializes in Labrador Retriever and Labradoodle (lab and poodle mix) puppies and therapy dogs. We strive to set ourselves apart from other breeders by raising the happiest, healthiest, and most lovable puppies possible. We raise our puppies in our home close to their mother and treat them like our own pets.
Wedding Barn
